The device is designed for conducting measurements in relation to the symmetry axis of the vehicle's chassis frame which, in case of trucks, buses, trailers and semi-trailers, is a main bearing element of the chassis.

Owing to the application of laser, among others, the device is fitted to check the geometry of wheels of two- and multi-axle vehicles as well as articulated buses.

Potentiometric sensors placed on suitably shaped extension arms make it possible to measure the individual front-wheel toe-in angles for trucks and buses.

What can be measured:

Allows for the control of the following parameters of the wheels geometry:

• individual front-wheel toe-in,
• total front-wheel toe-in,
• total rear-wheel toe-in (*),
• front and rear-wheel camber angles,
• unperpendicularity angle between wheels axis and the symmetry axis of the chassis frame (*),
• wheels set-back angle (non-parallelism of axles),
• wheels' side-shift in relation to the frame's symmetry axis, (*),
• castor angles,
• king-pin inclination angles,
• toe difference angle at 20° steering lock,
• maximum steering angle.
