Read fault codes from VAG vehicles. Reads Error codes from Engine management, Automatic Transmission, ABS, SRS System and Airbag Codes.

Reads specifc fault codes out of the ECU which are used withing the models of the Volkswagen group. These little scan tools do not need a seperate power supply. The required power is used out of the ECU / Diagnostics Connector.

Compared to some imitated units that use the same casing, this model is industrially manufactured with an ongoing high quality. It is also short-circuit safe / proven*. It doesn't write any data back into the ECU / Onboard unit, it only ready out data. This mean that the ECU cannot be harmed or damaged.

We mainly sell this tool for a quick diagnostics to VAG dealers doing a direct quick check, to car dealers, independant workshops and garages, but also to private customers and hobby mechanics.

• Choose the system you would like to check such as: Engine Management, Automatic Transmission, ABS, SRS System or Airbag
• The unit shows the system specific Error Code (if available and stored in the ECU)
• You can read the full description of the fault code in the delivered list to analyse. (Please ask for a list in your local language)
• By pressing a button the fault code / trouble code will be erased.
• You don't need an additional PC or Laptop to read the codes.

* Short Circuit safety with Diagnostics units is important as very often third party radios in combination with cheap scan tools or self made OBD plates have caused short circuits and damaged the ECU.
